As I mentioned before, after learning how to bead I became fascinated with this idea of each bead as a pixel. Here is a short animation that took me 3 weeks to bead (and 1 hour to put together :)).

This blog documents community collaborations with which The New School is engaged. In Fall 2007 The New School and CARE started a collaboration with the Mayan women's artisan association "Ajkem'a Loy'a" in San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala. In June 2009 The New School is expanding its reach through a collaboration with the municipality of San Antonio Aguas Calientes.
