This blog documents community collaborations with which The New School is engaged. In Fall 2007 The New School and CARE started a collaboration with the Mayan women's artisan association "Ajkem'a Loy'a" in San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala. In June 2009 The New School is expanding its reach through a collaboration with the municipality of San Antonio Aguas Calientes.

The products the women have created are just amazing! I am so impressed with what I saw on the blog, and can't wait to see what other ideas they are coming up with. The colors are breathtaking and the quality looks fantastic. I was also blown away with the idea of a blender cover—the products are really coming along!
