In Fall 2007 The New School and CARE started a collaboration with the Mayan women's artisan association "Ajkem'a Loy'a" in San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala. In June 2009 The New School is expanding its reach through a collaboration with the municipality of San Antonio Aguas Calientes.

Interesting that one of the women said she was happy working with American people. By that I am assuming she means North American? :-)
